A team member creates the business and invites the others by link. The team tries Pelican free for 30 days, without payment details. The details are in How it works for teams.
Paying by link
- Your team picks a plan and sends you a payment link, for example on WhatsApp.
- You open the link and pay. You don’t need an account for that.
- As soon as the payment goes through, the whole team is activated.
Billing is per business, not per person: Solo costs 19 euros a month for up to 3 users, Basic 29 euros for up to 5, Pro 59 euros for unlimited users. Paid yearly, it is 15, 24 or 49 euros a month.
The owner portal
In the owner portal you sign in with the email you paid the subscription with. You get a code by email, no password needed. There you see:
- the status of your business and your subscription,
- your team with their roles and any open invites,
- the order history: what was ordered, when and from whom, with quantity and, if the team enters it, price,
- the way to manage your subscription.
If you are also set up as a chef in the app, you can create invite links in the portal yourself. Otherwise the team is read only for you. If nothing has been paid yet, you can also activate the team in the portal yourself.
Manage or cancel the subscription
Invoices, plan changes and cancelling run through the customer portal of our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. You reach it from the owner portal via Manage subscription. You can cancel at any time, and access stays active until the end of the paid period.

Common questions from owners
Do I need my own account as the owner?
No. You pay through the link without an account. For the owner portal, the email you paid with is enough. You get a sign in code sent to you.
Does every employee have to pay?
No. Pelican is paid once per business. The whole team uses the app at no cost.
How do I cancel?
In the owner portal via Manage subscription. That takes you to the Lemon Squeezy customer portal, where you can cancel at any time. Access stays active until the end of the paid period.
The owner portal can’t find my account. What now?
Use the email you paid the subscription with. If it still doesn’t work, write to [email protected].
